PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Teacher’s role in education goes beyond a simple knowledge transformation. Today one of the biggest challenge for the parents under the lockdown is to keep their kids engaged. We are all in an unfamiliar situation and have no clue how to deal with it.
The focus of the parents under the lockdown is to keep their children happy, amidst, rising anxiety. Kids are just scared as we are right now. They have never experienced anything like this before. They feel trapped at home. You have to spare time and love your kids a bit more.
Cook dishes of their choice, draw pictures and road stories or them. Don’t pick fights with your kids.
Now teachers and students have entered in a new world of virtual lectures and worksheets.
Due to long lockdown, thousands of students are glued to computers and smart phones as teachers take to online classes. Our school has also undertaken the initiative to switch over to online teaching over classroom teaching. Class and section wise WhatsApp group has been created by respective class teachers. Time table is prepared for each group allocating forty five minutes to each subject. Besides this, music, drawing and PT for students up to classes VIII has been introduced. These subjects will help break the monotonous learning and will add little fun.
Education is a joint venture between school and home and we work with our young students to help them learn about the world around them through the prescribed curriculum and the daily social interactions that they are a part of. We very much appreciate the support that parents give their children at home as they strive to reach these academic and social learning goals.
The school strives hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combining with academics and extra-curricular activities to the children. Converting every individual into a self-reliant and independent citizen, the school provides a blending of scholastic and co-scholastic activities. While academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is also devoted to preparing students for life, groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and encourage them to be socially relevant.
